Why Choose the Radion XR30 G6 Blue?

Coverage and Mounting Height

EcoTech recommends mounting the fixture 8–10" above the aquarium. Plan fixture count around the recommended 36" x 30" spread rather than the 48" x 30" maximum so neighboring lights overlap; a 72" display up to 30" front to back, for example, geometrically corresponds to two 36" coverage sections; EcoTech does not give tank-by-tank fixture counts. The wide beam can also reflect off the side glass to help light coral undersides. Treat these figures as planning guides, not guaranteed PAR.

Mobius and Apex Control

Mobius handles wireless setup, scheduling, spectrum adjustment, and moonlight and weather simulation. Start from EcoTech's CoralLab AB+ program (including the popular SPS AB+) or tune the channels from deep actinic to a crisper white-blue look. Apex users can add an MXM module to control the light through Apex and Apex Fusion.

XR30 G6 Blue vs. XR30 G6 Pro

Choose the Blue when fluorescence and deep blue intensity are the priority. Choose the Pro for a balanced LED mix with spectra described as similar to metal halide, used in public aquariums and coral spawning labs. The difference is spectral emphasis, not a stated difference in tank-size rating.

• RMS Track System: slides multiple Radions along rails up to 8' long, suspended with a hanging kit or tank-mounted with the RMS Multi-Arm Kit
