The HYDROS WaveEngine V2 replaces the tangle of individual pump controllers, apps, and power bricks that build up under a reef tank. As a HYDROS controller dedicated to flow, it consolidates pump speed, flow patterns, power monitoring, and notifications in one app, which makes it a practical choice if you run mixed-brand pumps and want a cleaner equipment cabinet.

• Direct Drive power for up to four pumps: no separate power supplies for compatible Maxspect Gyre, IceCap Gyre, and Reef Octopus OCTO Pulse and RODC models
• 0-10V support: connect Tunze, Abyzz, and several Reef Octopus lines through a HYDROS 0-10V quad adapter and keep each pump's native flow modes and presets
• WiFi device control: run up to eight HYDROS WiFi Power Strips and Smart Plugs (sold separately) for lights, feeders, and other equipment
• Per-pump monitoring: volts, amps, watts, and real-time RPM give early warning of pump degradation

Flow Patterns and Pump Groups

Both Direct Drive and 0-10V pumps have access to the same flow patterns: sync, anti-sync, triangle wave, square wave, sine wave, and user-defined patterns. Custom patterns offer resolution down to 1/1000 of a second over cycles up to 24 hours long. You can organize pumps into groups, assign each a physical location in the tank, and set individual speed limits to match your system.
