MicroBacter CLEAN puts beneficial bacteria for reef tank maintenance to work where organic waste builds up. Dissolved and particulate organics affect both how an aquarium looks and the health of its inhabitants. How to Use MicroBacter CLEAN

1. Shake the product well before using.
2. Mix your dose with 250 mL (~8 fl. oz.) of aquarium water in a clean container before adding it to the aquarium.
3. For best results, add the mixture to an external biological filtration system (Brightwell notes it works particularly well with Xport). Do not add it to pump intake ports.
4. Turn off protein skimming and UV sterilization for 4 hours after each addition.
5. If you dispense with a pipette below the water level, rinse the pipette thoroughly with fresh water before putting it back in the bottle; otherwise the product will be contaminated.

Keep up good maintenance practices while using MicroBacter CLEAN: vacuum regularly, use purified water for additions, and limit unnecessary nutrients.
