How the Three-Sensor Design Works

The IceCap ATO EZ uses twin optical sensors to manage the normal refill cycle. Because refills are controlled between a low-level and a normal-level sensor, the refill pump avoids frequently powering on and off, which helps extend its life and reliability. A third safety sensor adds an extra level of protection against overflows.

Installing Your Auto Top Off Reef Tank Setup

Installation is quick. Move the magnetic optical sensor to the desired water level in the return section of your sump, then place the pump in your ATO reservoir and connect it with the supplied tubing and accessories. The universal tubing holder and siphon breaker help you route the line into your sump neatly.
