Collection: Live Food

To help saltwater fish get acclimated to a processed food, live foods can often be used. For the first few months, common fish like mandarins and butterflyfish usually fare well on live copepods before being gradually switched over to dry rotifers or other freeze-dried tiny particle meals. Copepods and phytoplankton, which may be relied on to target-feed corals or broadcast-feed the entire tank, perform exceptionally well for coral nutrition.
